Weather permitting, the outdoor rink at the Tottenham Community & Fitness Centre, 139 Queen St. N., Tottenham will be open for leisure skate ONLY, no game play of any kind (ie. hockey or shinny), daily from 7am to 10pm.
As a result of the Provincial Emergency Declaration, effective Jan. 14, a maximum of 5 participants will be permitted on the ice at any given time and face masks/coverings must be worn at all times. Each skater will now be permitted a time limit of 30 minutes.

As part of the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) program, last year the Town identified a wooded area in Beeton that comprises of approximately 90% ash trees.  All these trees are now dead and/or dying. They are all within striking distance of the properties along McCullough Avenue and Danielle Avenue South in Beeton.  Ash trees deteriorate quickly after infestation and have been known to fail at the base; unfortunately, these trees must be removed.

New Tecumseth adopts 2021 budgets
NEW TECUMSETH, ON – The Town of New Tecumseth adopted its 2021 Budgets at its December 14 th Council meeting.
The Approved 2021 Budget reflects a net general levy of $38.2M resulting in a 2.16% levy increase. The Town’s Capital Levy dedicated to asset replacement increased the levy by an additional 0.5%.
Overall, the combined 2021 approved levy reflects a 2.66% increase, which translates to approximately $61 per year...
