Notice of Start of Project - Prospect Street and Tecumseth Street

📢 Big improvements are coming to Prospect and Tecumseth Streets in Beeton 🚧

The Town has partnered with R.J. Burnside & Associates to design full road reconstruction and urbanization for the area 🛣️

What’s included:
🔧 Full roadway rebuild
🚶 Improved sidewalks & active transportation
💧 Drainage upgrades
📡 Municipal servicing improvements

Design work starts March 2026 and is expected to wrap up by Q1 2027.

Updated Building Permit Application Form Now Required

If you’re planning a renovation, addition, or new build in New Tecumseth, please be aware that the Province of Ontario has updated the Application for a Permit to Construct or Demolish.

The new application form is now in effect and must be used for all building permit applications.

These changes come from the Province and help make sure applications meet current rules under the Ontario Building Code.
