Parks, Trails, and Open Spaces Master Plan

The Town of New Tecumseth has developed a new Parks, Trails and Open Space Masterplan!  This document will guide future development of our Parks, Trail Systems and Open Space areas for the next 15 years as we continue grow.

Summer Camp and Activities Registration Delayed

Registration for aquatics and day camp programming will not open on May 2nd at 7am as originally planned.

We are continuing to work out operational details of the Outdoor Rotary Pool and once we know exactly how the pool season looks, we will share details and set a new registration date for summer camps and activities, and announce it through email, social media and on the Town website.

Dayfoot Street Project - Road Closures

Please be advised that the Dayfoot Street Sanitary Trunk Sewer – Phase 1 contract (“Works”) begins preliminary, preparatory works during the week of April 24, 2023.

The Contractor will be closing Dayfoot Street from Lilly Street to Stewart Street and English Drive,from Centre Street to Dayfoot Street the week of May 1, 2023 at 7:00am until completion, anticipated for September 1, 2023 at 7:00am, weather permitting.

Warming Centres - Extreme Cold Weather Alert

New Tecumseth Public Libraries, Memorial Branch at 17 Victoria St. E. in Alliston, DA Jones Branch at 42 Main St. W. in Beeton, and Pam Kirkpatrick Branch at 139 Queen St. N. in Tottenham, will act as warming centres during regular (10am-5pm) business hours on February 3 & 4.
