Road closure Dec. 9 - Beeton parade

The Beeton Agricultural Society will be hosting this year's Santa Claus Parade in Beeton on Sat., Dec. 9th, 2023 starting at 11am.

The following road closures will temporarily be in place from 10am to 11:30am for the Dec. 9th parade:

• Main Street from the Foodland plaza to Tecumseth Street.
• Tecumseth Street North from Main Street to Prospect Street. 
• Prospect Street from Tecumseth Street to Second Street. 

Snow Day Drop-In Skates

Parks and Recreation has opened up the rinks for snow day drop-in skates.

Tottenham Community & Fitness Centre

Youth Skate and Play (ages 10>) 1:30pm-3pm

Family Skate and Play (ages <9) 3:30pm-5pm

New Tecumseth Recreation Centre

Youth Skate and Play (ages 10>) 10am-11:30am

Family Skate and Play (ages <9) 1pm-2:30pm.

New Tecumseth CAO resigns

NEW TECUMSETH, ON – The Town of New Tecumseth’s Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Blaine Parkin has resigned from his position.

Parkin will stay on with the Town until December 31st, 2023.

“On behalf of Town staff and Council, we thank Mr. Parkin for all of his years of service, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors,” said New Tecumseth Mayor Richard Norcross.
