Council Invests in New Tecumseth’s Future with Strategic Downtown Parking
NEW TECUMSETH, ONTARIO – Recognizing the growing needs of our community and the importance of proactive planning, Council has approved the purchase of six properties near Queen and Mill streets in Tottenham for $3.7 million. This investment underscores our commitment to ensuring accessible and convenient parking options for residents and visitors while fostering a vibrant downtown area.
Notice: Testing of Automated Speed Enforcement Cameras

As the Town prepares to launch its Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) Program, residents may observe camera flashes over the coming days. Please be advised that these cameras are currently undergoing testing and calibration to ensure proper functionality.
Motorists are reminded to adhere to all posted speed limits for the safety of all road users.

Victoria Day Holiday Hours

Please note, our Town facilities will have modified hours on Monday, May 19, including Town Hall and Museum on the Boyne.
Town recreation centres will operate under regular hours on Saturday and Sunday, but will be closed on Monday.
