Flags lowered for JJ Paul Whiteside

Town of New Tecumseth flags are lowered in honour of JJ Paul Whiteside who sadly passed away on March 14.
Paul was devoted to our community, including having served as the Chief Financial Officer-Treasurer for the Town as well as Councillor and a board member on various committees and groups.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

On March 11, 2025, J.J. Paul Whiteside received a special recognition from the Nottawasaga OPP Detachment Board for his extensive years of dedicated service as a provincial appointee.
A small gathering of family, friends, and OPP members came together to celebrate Mr. Whiteside and honour his numerous contributions to the local community, where he has actively participated in various committees and boards over the years.

The Wastewater Collections unit will be working on Wednesday, February 19th, near 9 Tupper Street West, Alliston, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. This will affect the Tupper and Church Street intersection.
