Update: Watermain Break Repaired – Maple Avenue East, Beeton

The watermain break at 26 Maple Avenue East has been successfully repaired, and water service has been fully restored. Crews have completed backfilling of the excavation, and all traffic control measures have been dismantled. 

Maple Avenue East is now fully open to traffic.

We thank residents for their continued patience and cooperation throughout the repair process.

Watermain Breaks - Beeton

The Town is responding to two watermain breaks that have occurred in Beeton:

• Tecumseth Street & Maple Street West
• Maple Avenue East

To facilitate emergency repairs, watermain isolation is underway between 10 Sideroad and Centre Street.

In addition, Tecumseth Street will be closed between Main Street West and Maple Avenue West during the repair work. Please follow posted detour signs and use alternate routes where possible.

Official Plan Review Update

The Province is updating its population methodology guidelines to reflect provincial priorities and evolving methodologies. As such, we will defer further work on New Tecumseth’s Official Plan Amendment (OPA) and Growth Management Study until the province’s guideline is finalized in the coming months.
