Please be advised that the previous Shephard Avenue and 4th Line Traffic Calming Projects have been approved for annual installation.  The Shephard Ave Project will include the installation of four (4) speed humps with warning signage. 

 The 4th Line Project will include the installation of three (3) sets of flexible bollards with warning signage between Sideroad 15 and Sideroad 18. It should be noted that the number of flexible bollard sets has been increased by one (1) compared to the 2023...

Flags have been lowered at the Town of New Tecumseth facilities to honour the life of the Right Honourable Brian Mulroney, Canada’s 18th Prime Minister. The former Prime Minister passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024. Our thoughts are with his family.

90 Prospect Street Remediation

The Town owned property at 90 Prospect Street (adjacent to Beeton Community Park) located at the intersection of Tecumseth Street North in the community of Beeton, has been deemed as surplus lands to sell for potential residential re-development in the future. A Phase 1 and 2 Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) assessed the soil and groundwater quality recommending remediation work be undertaken to obtain a Record of Site Condition in accordance with Ontario Regulation 153/04.
