The Town of New Tecumseth is reviewing its Building By‑law, including updates to building permit fees. We are holding a public meeting to share the proposed changes and hear from the community.

UPDATE as of 8:20 AM - Wellington St W has re-opened and all water service has been repaired. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Wellington Street West is currently closed between Paris Street and Ambrose Heydon Street due to a watermain break.

Please use alternate routes while crews complete the necessary repairs.

Winter Clean-Up Operations – Downtown Alliston

Our crews will begin snow removal in Alliston’s downtown area on Thursday, January 8 at approximately 10:30 PM. Crews will be working through the night and into the early morning hours of Friday, January 9, to ensure roads and public spaces remain safe and accessible.

Residents are asked to avoid parking on streets and in designated areas during this time to allow crews to work efficiently.

Please exercise caution if you are traveling overnight and give equipment operators plenty of space.
