Kindly be advised that the re-construction works for 10th Sideroad (between Lilly Street and the Beeton Creek bridge) within the Community of Beeton, are scheduled to commence next week, Monday, May 2, 2022. Please be advised that while the By-Law permits the closure of 10th sideroad as of Monday April 26th, the subject section 10th Sideroad will not be closed until Monday May 2nd, at the earliest. Please be advised that the Town of New Tecumseth’s Public Works Department will be conducting routine flushing of all municipal hydrants in the Tottenham Distribution System starting on May 2, 2022.  This preventative maintenance process will be performed daily (during regular business hours) and may take up to six (6) weeks to complete.

Committee of the Whole and Council meeting start time changes to 6pm

Please be advised that as per recent updates to the Town’s Procedure Bylaw, effective Monday, April 4th, 2022, regular meetings of Council for the Town of New Tecumseth will now start at 6pm rather than the previous 7pm start time.

Drainage Master Plan Study – Phase 2 

The Town of New Tecumseth has initiated a town‐wide Drainage Master Plan Study (DMP). The DMP will provide a long‐term flood mitigation strategy to improve the Town’s drainage system and reduce flood risks to property, public safety, and the environment.
