Town Flags Lowered for former Alliston Fire Chief

Town flags fly at half-staff in honour of former Alliston Fire Chief Jim Hunter. Retired Chief Hunter was a member of the Alliston Fire Department from 1954-1984 and served as Fire Chief from 1973-1984. Thank you for your service. Our sincere condolences to his family and friends.

New Tecumseth Public Libraries, Memorial Branch at 17 Victoria St. E. in Alliston, DA Jones Branch at 42 Main St. W. in Beeton, and Pam Kirkpatrick Branch at 139 Queen St. N. in Tottenham, will act as warming centres during regular (10am-5pm) business hours on February 3 & 4.

Council invites nominations for the Town of New Tecumseth’s Senior of the Year Award to recognize and honour a citizen over the age of 65 that has enriched the social, cultural or civic life of the community.
