The Town of New Tecumseth has hired Triton Engineering Services Limited to begin the design phase for improvements at the intersection of King Street South and Industrial Parkway.
Timeline:
- Design work starts in November 2025 and is expected to finish by July 2026.
- Field investigations (like surveying the road, driveways, trees, fences, and land features) will begin soon and continue through January 2026.

Toys for Tickets Campaign Returns November 14–28

The Town of New Tecumseth is excited to launch its annual Toys for Tickets campaign from November 14 - 28.
During this time, residents can pay eligible parking tickets by donating a new, unwrapped toy of equal or greater value. To participate, bring the toy in its original packaging along with the purchase receipt to:

🕒 Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Only parking tickets issued between November 14 and November 28, 2025 are eligible for redemption.

Queen Street Resurfacing – Schedule Update

As part of the Town’s Road Improvement Program (Contract T25-06), Queen Street between Nolan Road and 177 Queen Street South was originally planned for resurfacing in 2025.
Please note that the timeline has changed. Work is now expected to begin in Spring 2026, starting with milling, followed by resurfacing.

UPDATE - Industrial Parkway Sanitary Sewer Replacement

The contractor will be returning to Industrial Parkway to replace the sanitary sewer pipe that was installed over the summer. The pipe does not meet the Town’s standards and needs to be replaced.
You may notice some early construction activity starting this week, as the contractor prepares for the work.
Construction and lane closures will begin on November 10, 2025. One lane of traffic will stay open while the work is being done.
