Road Closure – 10th Sideroad, Beeton

Please be advised that  a watermain break has occurred on 10th Sideroad in Beeton.

To safely complete this work, 10th Sideroad is closed between Lily Street and 10th Line.

Crews are working to resolve the issue as quickly and safely as possible.

Access for local traffic and water haulers will be maintained from 10th Line to allow travel to and from McKelvey.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this essential repair is underway.

Please use alternate routes and follow all posted signage.

Tree Rebate Program Now Open!

We are now accepting applications for the Urban Forest Enhancement Rebate Program, offering up to 50% rebates for ISA Certified Arborist maintenance and eligible tree purchases.

Funding is first‑come, first‑served.

Applications are accepted Feb 1–Oct 30.

Residents must apply before work begins; rebates are issued after inspection with final invoices due by end of November.

Warming Centres Open - January 29, 2026

An Extreme Cold Weather Alert has been issued for our area.

Residents are welcome to warm up at New Tecumseth Public Library branches during regular operating hours.

All locations provide a safe, heated space for anyone needing relief from the cold.

Locations:

  • Alliston – Memorial Branch, 17 Victoria St. E.
  • Beeton – D.A. Jones Branch, 42 Main St. W.
  • Tottenham – Pam Kirkpatrick Branch, 139 Queen St. N.
