7th Line Reconstruction Haul Route Change

Further to the project update on November 18, please be advised that an alternate haul route has been approved for the purpose of receiving granular material for the 7th Line Road Reconstruction Project and to minimize truck traffic surrounding the Beeton settlement area. This haul route is temporary for the next few weeks and haul routes will be reassessed as the project progresses and prior to resuming the work after winter shutdown.

Temporary Road Closure - Beeton Festival of Lights

Main Street West from Tecumseth Street to Centre Street will be closed on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm for the Beeton Festival of Lights.

Toys for Tickets Campaign Returns

The Town of New Tecumseth is once again offering its annual Toys for Tickets program.

Notice for Extended Road Closure and Winter Shutdown

Please be advised that the road closure for the 7th Line Road Reconstruction, from Sideroad 10 to Sideroad 15 has been extended until July 14, 2023 which includes a winter shutdown. Following the winter shutdown, the Contractor is anticipated to resume work on May 1st, 2023 or earlier as weather conditions permits. Further notice will be provided prior to work resuming in the spring.
