The Wastewater Collections unit will be working on Wednesday, February 19th, near 9 Tupper Street West, Alliston, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. This will affect the Tupper and Church Street intersection. Expect increased traffic, road controls, and noise. Please use caution or avoid the area. For questions, contact Public Works at 905-729-0057 (Option 4) or the after-hours service at 1-877-274-0031. The significant weather event that was declared for New Tecumseth on February 12, 2025 has officially ended  effective 10 am Monday, February 24, 2025. Thank you for your patience and support as we worked through the winter maintenance.

Significant Weather Event - Feb. 12

We are closely monitoring two major weather events that are expected to bring significant snowfall  Given the major winter storm expected for New Tecumseth, we are declaring a Significant Weather Event for our winter operations starting this evening (Feb. 12).

Our crews will be working around the clock however as we expect significant snowfall in a relatively short period of time, snow clearing operations will take longer than usual.
