Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional Water Service Verification Project

The Town of New Tecumseth is launching a Water Service Verification Project to assess water servicing infrastructure at industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) properties. This includes verifying domestic and fire service lines, water meters, backflow preventers, and hydrants.

Labour Day Holiday Hours - September 1, 2025

Happy Labour Day Weekend!

Please note, our Town facilities will have modified hours on Monday, September 1, including Town Hall, New Tecumseth Recreation Centre, Tottenham Community and Fitness Centre and Museum on the Boyne.

They will reopen during regular business hours on Tuesday, September 2.

Notice of Virtual Council and Committee of the Whole Meetings – August 25

Please be advised that the New Tecumseth Council and Committee of the Whole meetings scheduled for Monday, August 25, 2025, will be held electronically via Zoom.

Fire Ban Lifted in New Tecumseth

The Fire Ban across New Tecumseth has been lifted.

Recent rainfall has helped reduce fire risk, and the Fire Danger Rating has now been updated to MODERATE.

Residents may now resume use of:

✅ Active and approved Fire Permits

✅ Outdoor Wood Burning Appliances
