138 Young Street - Notice of Public Meeting

The Town of New Tecumseth has received an application for a Zoning By-law Amendment for properties located at 124, 130, 138, 140, 142, and 146 Young Street in Alliston. This application has been submitted under Section 34 of the Planning Act and seeks to allow the development of four high-rise buildings:

• A 15-storey mixed-use building

• A 12-storey mixed-use building

• A 12-storey residential building

• A 15-storey residential building

Watermain Break - Queen Street N., Tottenham

Crews are actively working on restoring a watermain break on Queen Street N., Tottenham, from Eastern Avenue to Fraser Avenue.

Road Reconstruction Program Update

As part of our Road Reconstruction Program, we will be doing some extra geotechnical investigations to help design the following streets in Tottenham: Brown Street, William Smart Road, Lionel Stone Avenue East, and Adeline Avenue.  

This work is scheduled for April 25 - 26, weather permitting, with minor anticipated traffic disruptions.

The Committee of Adjustment will meet on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Office, 24 Tupper Street West, Alliston Ontario.  The agenda is posted one week before the meeting.
