An Extreme Cold Weather Alert has been issued for our area.

Residents are welcome to warm up at New Tecumseth Public Library branches during regular operating hours.

All locations provide a safe, heated space for anyone needing relief from the cold.

Locations:

  • Alliston – Memorial Branch, 17 Victoria St. E.
  • Beeton – D.A. Jones Branch, 42 Main St. W.
  • Tottenham – Pam Kirkpatrick Branch, 139 Queen St. N.

Winter Clean-Up Operations – Downtown Areas

Public Works crews will be conducting snow removal operations in the downtown areas of Alliston, Beeton, and Tottenham. Due to the significant accumulation of snow, this work will take place over two (2) nights:

  1. Tottenham and Beeton: Overnight on Monday, January 19, continuing into the morning of Tuesday, January 20.
  2. Alliston: Overnight on Tuesday, January 20, continuing into the morning of Wednesday, January 21.
