Road Closure - Church Street

Note that Church Street between Victoria Street West and Dominion Street, Alliston, will be closed  August 22 from 7am to 2pm in relation to construction being completed on the Bank of Montreal roof.

Road Closure - Peacock Trail

Starting from August 17th Treetops Boulevard will be re-opened for local traffic with full access available to treetops subdivision. Once the Contractor re-opens Treetops Boulevard, starting from August 18th, Peacock Trail access to the Treetops subdivision will be closed to all types of traffic until September 2,2022, to accommodate the construction of the remaining section of Sideroad.

Construction of Dog Park at Hillcrest Park

As part of the 2022 approved budget, construction of a dog park at Hillcrest Park, 41 Cowan Ave., Alliston has been advancing. Work has now been paused. Residents are invited to attend a site meeting at the park on Tues., Aug. 16 at 9am to answer any questions you may have about the project. Any further construction and/or opening of the dog park will be paused until the meeting has occurred. Any questions about the site meeting can be sent to parks@newtecumseth.ca

Haul Route Change for Fletcher Meadows

There has been a haul route change for the Fletcher Meadows project as there is a need for some excessive soils from Beeton Meadows to use at Fletcher Meadows subdivision.   The proposal uses a wide variety excessive soils and is in keeping with the MECP's Excess Soil Regulation (Ontario Reg. 406/19: "On-Site and Excess Soil Regulation").
