Flags at all Town facilities have been lowered to half‑mast in honour of Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Brandon Malcolm, who was lost while on duty earlier this week in Cobourg, Ontario.

The Town extends its heartfelt condolences to Sgt. Malcolm’s family, friends, and colleagues, and to the entire policing community during this difficult time.

Public Notice: Traffic Signal Pole Replacement

Alectra will be completing traffic signal pole replacement work starting in Early May at the following intersections:

📍 Albert Street E & Dufferin Street S - Three (3) traffic signal poles will be removed and replaced

📍 Victoria Street E & Tottenham Road - Two (2) traffic signal poles will be removed and replaced

Special Occasion Parking Permit Program Is Back!

Planning a gathering, hosting guests, or just need a little extra on‑street parking this season?

The Town’s Special Occasion Parking Permit Program is back, running from April 16 to November 14.

Designed to support short‑term parking needs, the program allows property owners to purchase permits that let a vehicle park on the street for up to 24 hours at a time.

Each property is limited to a maximum of 15 permits per year, making it a flexible option for those occasional parking needs.
