Notice is hereby given to the Municipal Electors of the Town of New Tecusmeth 

Nominations in the Town of New Tecumseth for the following offices will be accepted as described below:

  • Mayor  - One (1) to be elected at large
  • Deputy Mayor - One (1) to be elected at large
  • Ward Councillor - One (1) to be elected in each of the seven (7) wards
  • Simcoe County District School Board Trustee* - (English-Language School Board District #17) One (1) to be elected
  • Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board Trustee* -

Earlier today, Brian Saunderson, Member of Provincial Parliament for Simcoe–Grey, announced that the Ontario government will provide funding through the 2026–2027 Connecting Links program to resurface portions of Victoria, King, and Young streets, from the Alliston West Plaza easterly to Industrial Parkway.
