Update: Watermain Break Repaired – Tecumseth Street, Beeton

The watermain break at Tecumseth Street & Maple Street West in Beeton has been successfully repaired. Crews have completed the necessary work, backfilled the excavation, and reopened the road between Main Street West and Maple Avenue West.

The Town appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation during this emergency repair.

Please note that work is still ongoing in the area of Maple Avenue East, and watermain isolation remains in effect between 10 Sideroad and Centre Street.

Notice: Temporary Closure of Ice Rinks at New Tecumseth Recreation Centre on July 27

Please be advised that there will be no drop-in programs or ice use at the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre on Sunday, July 27.

Regular ice availability will resume on both rinks starting Monday, July 28. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.

Queen Street Resurfacing

Please be advised that the Town of New Tecumseth has solicited bids for resurfacing Queen Street between Nolan Road and 177 Queen Street South.

Lisbon Paving Co. Ltd. will be removing the existing asphalt surface, repaving, repainting and correcting outstanding curb, catch basin and maintenance access deficiencies. This project is to commence July 21, 2025.

One vehicular traffic lane and safe pedestrian access will be maintained during working hours. Personnel on-site will coordinate any driveway...
