Accessibility Parking Downtown Beeton

Concerns were identified at the Accessibility Advisory Committee meeting on February 21, 2024 regarding the accessible parking spot on Main Street in Beeton. The designated spot is not large enough to accommodate individuals who require the use of a rear exiting ramp van, therefore residents are not able to use the ramp to exit their vehicle. The members requested that the accessible spot be relocated to an end spot to facilitate more space.

New Tecumseth prepares for move and grand opening of new Town Hall
NEW TECUMSETH, ON – The Town of New Tecumseth is preparing to move to the new Town Hall.
The move from 10 Wellington Street East will take place between May 31 and June 3. Town Hall will reopen at its new location at 8:30a.m. on Mon., June 3. Minimal disruptions to service are expected.
With the main entrance facing Tupper Street, the address for the Town Hall will be known as 24 Tupper Street West, Alliston.

Update: The road has been reopened.
Queen Street South in Tottenham is closed for large vehicles from 3rd Line to Mill Street and for normal traffic from Brown Street to Lionel Stone Avenue East. Updates will be posted here. Thank you for your patience.
Shephard Avenue and 4th Line Traffic Calming Project

Please be advised that the previous Shephard Avenue and 4th Line Traffic Calming Projects have been approved for annual installation. The Shephard Ave Project will include the installation of four (4) speed humps with warning signage.
The 4th Line Project will include the installation of three (3) sets of flexible bollards with warning signage between Sideroad 15 and Sideroad 18. It should be noted that the number of flexible bollard sets has been increased by one (1) compared to the 2023...
