Watermain Break - Queen St. South and Dillane St. East

A watermain break occurred during overnight reconstruction taking place at Dillane and Keogh. A small section of watermain has been isolated on Queen Street South from Dillane Street East to the front of 60 Queen Street South. Water staff are on site performing repairs and affected businesses in the area have been notified, Queen Street South will remain open to traffic.

The watermain break at Queen Street N. from Eastern Avenue to Fraser Avenue in Tottenham has been repaired and service has been restored to affected areas.
Crews will remain on site until the backfilling of excavation is complete.

Notice of Construction - Dillane and Keogh Reconstruction

The Town of New Tecumseth has hired Trisan Construction to reconstruct Dillane Street East and Keogh Street. Triton Engineering Services will help oversee the project. The work includes earth excavation, storm and sanitary sewer replacement and rehabilitation, new asphalt, adding concrete curbs and sidewalks, putting up streetlights, and more.

Recreation Services Non-resident Fee Adjustment

The existing fee surcharge for non-residents has been adjusted from 20% to 30% for the year 2025 onward as per Council’s direction. This change will apply to all Town of New Tecumseth recreation services that currently have a non-resident fee applied.
This adjustment is part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing and maintaining the quality of our Town's recreation services and infrastructure.
