New Tecumseth adopts 2023 Business Plan & Budget

NEW TECUMSETH, ON – The Town of New Tecumseth adopted its 2023 Business Plan and Budget at its February 27th Council meeting. 

The approved 2023 Budget reflects a net operating and capital levy of $40.2M resulting in a 1.29% general levy increase. The Town’s capital levy dedicated to asset replacement increases the levy by an additional 2%.

Tottenham outdoor ice rink reopens

With the drop in temperatures, the outdoor rink at the Tottenham Community & Fitness Centre has reopened today (Feb. 16). Visit our Skating and Shinny web page for more. 

Watermain Break Main St. W. Beeton

Feb. 12, 2023 -Final update 4:30pm all work has been completed and the roadway has reopened.

Update at 4pm - Our crews have repaired the watermain, flushed and back in service. Traffic control remains in place while we backfill. Thank you for your patience. 

We have a watermain break on Main Street West, Beeton affecting 14 residences. The north-bound lane of Willow Drive will be closed at Main St. W. Traffic heading west on Main St. W. will have to obey a yield sign while we work on repairs.

Ice reopened at NTRC

We have a temporary solution to the condenser chiller unit failure at the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre, 7300 Industrial Parkway, Alliston. A portable unit has been installed and the ice on both pads will be ready for tonight (Feb. 8) allowing scheduled ice programming to resume.
