Beeton Facility Replacement Project Public Information Open House

Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 7:00 pm, Beeton Memorial Arena Community Hall

The Town of New Tecumseth is undertaking a feasibility study, concept plan and business plan for the replacement of the Beeton Memorial Arena.  James Fryett Architects have undertaken a review of replacement options, design concepts and capital and operating budgets for a new facility.

At the Council Meeting on Monday, March 4, 2019, based upon the presented High Level Business Case Report prepared by James Fryett Architect Inc., Council directed staff to continue to investigate and cost Option A, a new facility with an Ice Pad and Community Centre located in Beeton, as the preferred option for the replacement of the Beeton Memorial Arena and Community Centre, including consideration within the Long Range Financial Plan.

Initial Concept Plans for the Beeton Arena and Multi-Purpose Community Centre will be presented at a Public Information Open House on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 7:00pm at the Beeton Memorial Arena.

The purpose of the Public Information Open House will be to:

  • elaborate and review on the high level business case prepared,
  • present initial concept plans to the public, and
  • for the community to ask questions and share their views about the initial concept.

Please join us at this Public Information Open House.  We are happy to answer your questions and listen to your feedback.  Based on feedback, a final business case will be developed and presented to Council for approval and direction.
