NOTICE OF ONLINE PUBLIC INFORMATION CENTRE

MUNICIPAL CLASS ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT STUDY FOR NEW ALLISTON PRODUCTION WELL

The Town of New Tecumseth (Town) is undertaking a Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) Study to select the preferred servicing strategy to increase the existing

groundwater supply capacity, in order to meet the projected water demands for the Municipality to horizon year 2031.

This study is being conducted in accordance with the requirements for Schedule ‘B’ projects under the Municipal Class EA document as set out by the Municipal Engineers Association (October 2000, amended in 2007, 2011 and 2015).

Public consultation is critical to the success of the study. Given the current COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions, an online Public Information Centre (PIC) is available to provide information about the project, the results of the activities completed to-date, the preliminary preferred recommended solution for the Drinking Water System and obtain your feedback.

PIC presentation boards, recorded video and narration will be available for review, on the project webpage at www.newtecumseth.ca/newproductionwell

You are encouraged to review the PIC material and provide your feedback/comments, and these will be considered in finalizing the preferred servicing solution.

Please contact one of the individuals listed below if you have any questions or comments or would like to be included on the Project Contact List. For more information about this project, visit www.newtecumseth.ca/newproductionwell
