The Town is building two dedicated pickleball courts at Keogh Park in Tottenham. The new courts will be available free of charge for all residents and visitors to enjoy.
The project includes:
- Two dedicated pickleball courts within a fenced enclosure
- A paved accessible pathway connecting the courts to the existing sidewalk
- Space for benches and/or picnic table seating
These improvements will create a welcoming and accessible place for residents to play and gather.
The new courts will be located at Keogh Park, 49 Mill Street East, Tottenham, just north of the existing tennis courts.
Funding for the project was approved through the Town’s 2026 Budget.
Construction is expected to begin in September 2026 and be completed by the end of October 2026, weather permitting.
Pickleball continues to grow in popularity across the community. The Parks, Trails and Open Spaces Master Plan (2024) identified a need for two dedicated pickleball courts in Tottenham within the first five years of the plan.
After reviewing a number of potential locations, Keogh Park was identified as the most suitable site based on established site selection criteria and was approved by Council in April 2026.
These new courts will:
- Help meet the growing demand for pickleball facilities in the community
- Provide dedicated space for pickleball players
- Increase recreation opportunities in Tottenham
- Support active and healthy lifestyles
- Improve accessibility to recreational amenities
