Annual Traffic Calming Program

Church Street North, 4th Line, Patterson Street, and Pridham Place Traffic Calming Projects

Please be advised that the previous 4th Line, and Patterson Street Traffic Calming Projects have been approved for annual installation.  

The Church Street North Project will include the installation of one (1) set of speed cushions with warning signage, and the installation of one (1) flexible bollard. 

The 4th Line Project will include the installation of four (4) sets of flexible bollards between Sideroad 15 and Sideroad 18, the Patterson Street Project will include the installation of three (3) sets of flexible bollards near Maple Avenue East, and the Pridham Place Project will include the installation of two (2) flexible bollards. 

It is anticipated that the Church Street North, 4th Line, Patterson Street, and Pridham Place installation works will be completed by the Town of New Tecumseth’s contractor between April 27th – May 8th,  2026. Installations may continue during the week after if needed due to unfavourable weather. 

The winter removal of all the speed humps and flexible bollards will be completed by November 2, 2026.
