Municipal incentives

 Development charge reductions
Opening a new business in the technology and financial sector, or starting a new industrial expansion? Contact us to find out if you qualify for discounts on development charges.
 Community Improvement Plan
If you own a business or property in one of New Tecumseth's three downtown areas, you may be eligible for grants through our Community Improvement Plan program.
 Nottawasaga Futures Loans
Nottawasaga Futures offers loans up to $150,000 to support the creation of new jobs, or maintain existing jobs, in the community. You can apply if you have a business located in the municipalities of Adjala-Tosorontio, Bradford West Gwillimbury, Essa, Innisfil and New Tecumseth.

Provincial government incentives

 Apprenticeship Training Tax Credit
The Apprenticeship Training Tax Credit offers a tax credit of up to $10,000 per year if you hire and train apprentices in skilled trades.
 Export Market Access
Export Market Access can help your small to medium size organizations access and expand their growth in foreign markets. If your business has five or more employees and annual sales of $500,000 or more, you may qualify for a grant of up to 50% of eligible costs incurred to develop export sales.
 Ontario Centres of Excellence
Contact the Ontario Centres of Excellence for help with industrial research and development, commercialization of technology, and access to knowledge from industry and academic communities in Ontario.
 Ontario Emerging Technologies Fund
If you're an Ontario-based firm in the emerging technology sector, the Ontario Emerging Technologies Fund can help you. You may be able to apply for up to $25 million for your business.
 Ontario Export Manager Program
The Export Manager Program can assist your small and medium-sized enterprises to become export ready and help you to increase access to international export markets.

Agri-Food Trade Service (ATS) provides you with access to market information, trade counselling and export support.
 Apprenticeship Job Creation Tax Credit
The Apprenticeship Job Creation Tax Credit can help you offset the cost of hiring and training apprentices. A maximum credit of $2,000 per year is available for each eligible apprentice.
 Canada Small Business Financing Program
