Road Reconstruction Program

The Town of New Tecumseth is planning future improvements for its roads. According to the 2018 Roads Needs Study (RNS), several roads are prioritized for resurfacing over the next few years. The RNS ranks all the roads in the Town based on their condition and need for repair.

The Tottenham Road Reconstruction Program includes: Dillane Street East, Rogers Road, Adeline Avenue, Brown Street, Lionel Stone Avenue East, Keogh Street, and William Smart Road.

November 24, 2025

The Town of New Tecumseth is pleased to provide the following update on the detailed design for the remaining streets (Adeline, Brown, Willian Smart) as part of the Tottenham Road Reconstruction Program:

Tree Root Investigation (2024): 24 trees saved through root investigations
Road Realignment: Minor adjustments to Brown and Adeline have been made to minimize driveway impacts and maintain at least two (2) parking spaces per property.
