Our Canine Control department looks after all types of dog service requests from residents. These can include:
- Picking up stray or loose dogs
- Barking dogs
- Dog feces
- Dog bites
- Dangerous dogs
- Dog licenses

If your dog has been deemed dangerous under the Dangerous Dog By-law and you wish to appeal the declaration, the cost is $114 and the Appeal to Dangerous Dog Declaration form needs to be completed and returned to the Town Clerk along with payment.

It is important you take responsibility for your own dog's feces. Please remember to always pick up after your dog and ‘Poop 'n Scoop!
