2023 Road Improvement Program
The road construction work included in this project includes:
- Milling/Removal of existing roadway and driveway aprons to property line, repaving road surface, repaving driveway aprons to property line or up to sidewalk and replacing sections of curb and sidewalk on Maple Ave W, Elm Court, and Willow Drive. Curb replacement will be completed before the road work begins.
During the construction period, the Contractor is required to maintain one lane of vehicular traffic and safe pedestrian access during working hours and two lanes of vehicular traffic and safe pedestrian access during non-working hours. Personnel on-site will coordinate any driveway disruptions/ closures with residents to minimize the length of closure and to ensure alternate parking arrangements are made.
Please be advised, there will be no parking permitted on the street during the work that involves the road resurfacing. The curb work will allow partial parking as per work location.
You may experience some delays and inconveniences during this time, and, in this regard, we ask for your cooperation and patience. We also request that when driving or walking through and around the construction area that you follow and comply with the construction traffic signage for your safety and for the safety of the workers.
Should you have any questions or concerns related to this project, please do not hesitate to contact, Keith Clairmont, Project Manager – Construction Compliance, at 705-415-3124 of the Town’s Engineering Department.
