7th Line Road Reconstruction and Winter Shutdown Notice

Please be advised that the Contractor is scheduled to place binder course asphalt on 7th Line from Sideroad 10 to 0.75km east of Sideroad 10 on Saturday, December 17th, pending site conditions, in which it may be deferred to the next available opportunity next week.

The road will be open to local traffic only, including through travel lanes on this section of road, on December 16th at 5pm.

Winter Shutdown is anticipated for December 23, 2022 at 5pm or earlier, until May 1st, 2023. During the winter shutdown, the road will remain closed to through traffic, but local access will be provided from both directions. All Town, waste collection and postal services will be maintained.

Please note that 40km/hr advisory signs will be installed between the project limits of Sideroad 10 and Sideroad 15 for the duration of winter shutdown. We advise that when driving or walking through and around the project limits, that you exercise caution.
