Tottenham Conservation Area Opens for 2025 Season with New Changes
The Tottenham Conservation Area is set to open at a reduced capacity this season, adhering to the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) report. Here are the key changes to regular park operations for the 2025 season:
Hours of Operation
The park will open on May 16 and close for the season on September 28. Visitors can enjoy the park daily from 8 AM to 8 PM.
Day Use Visitors
The park welcomes day-use drop-in visitors. Residents of New Tecumseth can enter for free with proof of residency, while non-residents pay a day-use entry fee.
Daily Serviced and Non-Serviced Camping
A limited number of campsites are available for daily booking. Residents of New Tecumseth can pre-book campsites online from May 21 to June 17. Please note that campsites will not be available for online booking from June 18 to 23 due to the Tottenham Bluegrass Festival. The online reservation system will reopen to the public on June 24, with a 30% non-resident fee.
Tottenham Bluegrass Festival
On-site rentals will be accepted on June 18 and 19 at the park gatehouse.
Bookings from June 20 to 22 must be reserved through the Tottenham Bluegrass Festival.
Seasonal Camping
A limited number of seasonal campsites are available exclusively to residents of New Tecumseth. These are expected to sell out quickly. Interested residents should visit newtecumseth.ca/TCA to submit a seasonal campsite request form. Requests will be accepted until the end of the day on May 15.
Pavilions
The Town offers various pavilion rental opportunities for visitors, including at the Tottenham Conservation Area.
