Open House and Public Meeting

A joint Public Open House and Public Meeting are being held together with the County of Simcoe to gather your views on the draft Official Plan Amendment which includes the recommended Settlement Area Boundary Expansions to Alliston, Beeton and Tottenham. This represents a long-term plan for how and where the Town will grow over the next 30 years.

The draft policies for the Official Plan set out how future growth will be managed including the phasing of development and the need for further studies that will be required before any development can start. This represents a comprehensive approach to growth management which has taken into account feedback received through extensive public engagement, comments from stakeholders and input from landowners.
