Haul Route Change for Patterson Street Project

There has been a haul route change for the Patterson Street project as there is a need for some imported material to replace the existing poor subgrade and granular “A” material to build the road base.

Based on the Geotechnical Engineer’s recommendations, the material will be coming from Nelson Aggregate in Alliston. The consultant and the contactor have requested considering alteration to the Haul Route. The proposed haul route to Patterson Street would be; East on Industrial Parkway, South on Tottenham Road, East on 12th  Line and South on 10th Sideroad to the construction site.

The change/adjustment to the haul route will accommodate importation of the said material only as an interim arrangement. However, all other construction trucks/ traffic for this project will continue using the approved haul route as identified in the Schedule ‘C’ of the Development Agreement.
