National Public Works Week – May 17–23

Rooted in Service, Powered by Community

The Town is proud to celebrate National Public Works Week (NPWW) from May 17 to May 23, recognizing the dedicated professionals who keep our community safe, connected, and thriving.

Public Works services—such as roads, water, wastewater, stormwater, and fleet operations—form the foundation of everyday life. Some of this work is highly visible, while other contributions happen behind the scenes, but all are essential.

Please join us at our community events we have planned.

  • May 21 – Staff Tours and Public Open Houses
  • May 22 – Touch‑A‑Truck Open House
  • May 19–22 – Food Donation Drive at all events

Residents are encouraged to attend, learn more about Public Works operations, meet staff, and participate in the food donation drive by bringing a non‑perishable item.

Join us as we celebrate National Public Works Week and thank the people who are truly rooted in service and powered by community.
