Committee of Adjustment - August 28, 2025

The Committee of Adjustment will meet on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Office, 24 Tupper Street West, Alliston Ontario.  The agenda is posted one week before the meeting.

Minor Variance Applications

A11-25 - 2189 Sideroad 10

The property owner of 2189 Sideroad 10 has submitted an application requesting relief from Section 2.38 – Environmental Protection Zone to allow for the construction of a detached accessory garage for personal storage within and adjacent to the environmental protection zone. The application also seeks relief from Section 2.1.3 – Accessory Uses and Buildings to increase the permitted maximum height from 4.6 metres to 8.0 metres. This application will be reviewed at the Committee of Adjustment meeting noted above.

A12-25 - 130 Young Street 

The property owner of 130 Young Street has submitted an application requesting relief under Section 3.5 – Major Commercial Zone. The proposal seeks to expand the list of permitted uses on the subject property to include ‘financial institutions’ and ‘veterinary clinics.’  This application will be reviewed at the Committee of Adjustment meeting noted above.
