Senior of the Year Nominations Open

Council invites nominations for the Town of New Tecumseth’s Senior of the Year Award to recognize and honour a citizen over the age of 65 that has enriched the social, cultural or civic life of the community.

Seniors who qualify for this award may have contributed in many different fields, such as the arts, literature, community service, voluntarism, education, fitness and sport or humanitarian activities. Please include a written description of the individual, including highlights of their contributions.

The recipients will be honoured by the Town at an event or meeting to be determined by Council, and submitted to the Province for recognition.

Nomination forms will be received until 4:30 p.m., Friday March 3, 2023 addressed to:
