Stevenson Memorial Hospital Announcement

On August 30th, a news conference was held at Stevenson Memorial Hospital where we learned the great news that the Ontario government is moving forward with building a revitalized community hospital in New Tecumseth. 

The first step of issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) will allow for the selection of a qualified team to deliver the project that includes a new, two-storey addition that will triple the size of SMH and increase inpatient capacity by 20 per cent. 

"This is exciting news for our hospital, our community, our Town and the future of health care in New Tecumseth," said New Tecumseth Mayor Richard Norcross.
