Temporary Haul Route Change - Simcoe Manor

There will be a temporary haul route to accommodate hauling of approximately eight (8) loads of surplus topsoil being trucked off the Simcoe Manor site in Beeton to the Beeton Golf and Country Club located at 6494 9th Line.

The proposal seems to be a prudent use of excessive soils to reduce the environmental impacts and is in keeping with MECP’s Excess Soil Regulation (Ontario Reg. 406/19: “On-Site and Excess Soil Regulation”).

The temporary haul route would be from the Simcoe Manor, East on County Road 1 to Sideroad 15, North on Sideroad 15 to the 9th Line, West on 9th Line to the Beeton Golf and Country Club located at 6494 9th Line.

The requested temporary haul route is to accommodate importation of the topsoil material only. However, all other construction trucks/traffic related to the Simcoe Manor will continue using the approved haul route as identified in the Site Plan Agreement.

Trucks will be required to respect the hauling moratorium on Lilly Street in front of the Catholic Elementary School between the weekday hours of 8:00am to 9:00am and 2:20pm to 3:20pm.
