Toys for Tickets is Back for 2023!

From Wednesday, November 29 to Friday, December 8, 2023, only, the Town of New Tecumseth is accepting toys or gift certificates as payment for your parking ticket. Purchase a toy and bring it in its original packaging along with the receipt to the Administration Centre that is of equal or greater value of the parking ticket.

Parking tickets issued from November 15, 2023, up to and including those issued on November 28, 2023, are eligible to be redeemed during the Toys for Tickets campaign at The Town of New Tecumseth Administration Centre, 10 Wellington St. E., Alliston Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Accessible parking space and fire route violations are not eligible to participate.

In 2022, a total of 58 toys and two gift cards were collected as payment for 35 parking tickets valued at $1,280.

Toys collected throughout this year’s Toys for Tickets campaign will once again be distributed to youth in our community through the local Lions Clubs Christmas Hamper program as well as My Sister’s Place.
