Welcome Week 2023 Community/Job Fair

Welcome Week BannerThe Town of New Tecumseth in partnership with the County of Simcoe, Focus Employment Services and the Simcoe Muskoka Workforce Development Board will be hosting a Welcome Week Community/Job Fair on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre (7300 Industrial Parkway, Alliston).  Open to all residents to attend.

The Town of New Tecumseth is home to over 8,400 residents that identified in the 2021 Census that they were born outside of Canada.  Welcome Weeks are Canada-wide initiatives that were created to celebrate and showcase communities that are striving to be more welcoming places for all, including immigrants.  The Town and our partners are excited to be participating in Simcoe County's first Welcome Week, an opportunity to provide more information about all of the services available to residents in the Town.

On Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. all residents are invited to the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre (7300 Industrial Parkway, Alliston) to learn about all of the services that are available to residents from different service providers from health to employment, to education and recreation.  There will also be a job fair taking place for anyone that may be looking to work locally.
