Museum on the Boyne

The museum is located at 250 Fletcher Crescent, Alliston, has a large collection of household, agricultural, industrial and archival artifacts. Our exhibits trace the growth of South Simcoe from early settlement to present day and show the richness of our local history. The site includes the Agricultural Fair Building, a gift shop, a log cabin, a heritage barn  and so much more.

Now open Tuesday - Saturday 10:00am-3:00pm 

Admission is free but you may make a donation if you wish.

We offer guided and self-guided tours for you and your family. For groups of 10 or more people, we recommend you schedule your tour in advance. Book your tour today to learn about our rich heritage and see our history up close.

 Programming

We have many fun programs for preschoolers and youth. We enjoy combining learning with creative play to give your child the best hands-on experience possible. Some of our activities include summer day camps and programs for PA days, holidays and March Break.

The museum is a stop on the Simcoe County Honey Trail. Drop in to learn about D.A. Jones, the Bee King of Canada and pick up a Honey Trail map. You will also find honey and bee items in our gift shop, all produced by local businesses.  For more information click here.
