Outdoor Rotary Pool
The Alliston Rotary Pool is open from Canada Day to Labour Day weekend annually.
The Town of New Tecumseth has an Aquatic Wheelchair onsite at the Alliston Rotary Pool. To reserve use of the chair please speak to a Lifeguard on duty upon arriving at the pool.

To enter the pool area, every person must pay the respective fee below at the gate. Every person entering the pool area is subject to an entrance fee.
Group rate per person, 10 people minimum per group, $2.75. |

Public Swim Passes | ||||||||||||
You can purchase a swim pass for access to public swim times at the Alliston Outdoor Rotary Pool. You must purchase a swim pass at the Alliston/New Tecumseth Recreation Centre or Tottenham Community & Fitness Centre. All family members must be present for photos to be taken for membership cards.

Photography at the Pool | ||||||||||||
Photography and filming are not permitted during registered programs or drop-in activities. To ensure the safety, comfort and privacy of all patrons using our facilities, use of electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets and laptops are not permitted in certain areas of Town facilities. This is due to the integrated cameras that may impose on personal privacy. These spaces include program rooms, changing areas, showers and bathrooms.
The privacy and comfort of patrons in important to us. Town staff may take photos for marketing purposes, but permission will be obtained in advance from the participants. |

Swim Tests |
||||||||||||
Facility Swim Tests are required for anyone who is 6 - 9 years of age, who is interested in swimming alone. A Swim Test consists of:
Lifeguards offer Swim Tests during any of the scheduled drop in swim times. They will provide a red or green wristband to everyone who completes the test. Individuals who are 10 years and older are not required to complete a swim test. A lifeguard can ask you to demonstrate your swimming skills for safety reasons at any time. |

Drop In Swim Activities
The Town of New Tecumseth offers various outdoor swim activities including Aqua Zumba , Family Swims, Inclusive Swim , Lane Swimming and Public Swim . Please refer to the pool schedule for specific days and times.
Aqua Zumba (14 years+) |
Aqua Zumba is structured like a standard Zumba class. Aqua Zumba entails dancing to motivational music with unique dance moves and combinations—except it's in water. Low-impact, high-energy aquatic exercise! A fitness drop in fee applies to attend Aqua Zumba. This activity is not included in a pool or fitness membership. |
Family Swim (children up to 13 years) |
A Family swim is designed for parents/guardians (14+) and children to enjoy together. We invite all caregivers and children in their younger years to try this quieter swim time. |
Inclusive Swim |
Inclusive swim is designed for individuals with special needs. We invite all caregivers and individuals to try this quieter swim time. Caregivers are not charged admission. An aquatic wheelchair is available for use by reservation. |
Lane Swim (14 years+) |
During lane swimming, the deep end of the pool is divided into lanes so that determined swimmers can benefit from a structured environment and concentrate on their strokes. |
Public Swim |
Public Swim is an ideal time for people of all ages and abilities, whether you are an advanced swimmer or new to the aquatic world, to enjoy our pool. The 2024 Summer season is operating on a drop in basis. |
