Summer is just around the corner — and so are our most popular programs of the year! Whether your child loves summer camp adventures, creative activities, or making a splash in the pool, we’ve got an exciting lineup ready for them.

All drop-in programs except for public skating and shinny, across all recreation centres have transitioned to Book & Go — a new system that lets you pre-register 2 to 5 days in advance for all single classes. No more guessing if there’s space available!
These changes are all about making your recreation experience smoother, smarter, and more connected.

| What if residents do not know how to navigate XPLOR, register for programs, or process an online payment?
A public education initiative has been launched to help the community navigate self-registration and payment for the AMA pilot program. Residents can attend a session to engage with staff and learn how to create an account, register for programs, and process payments.
Additionally, Client Services will remain at the Alliston Memorial Arena from July 2 to July 8 to assist with public education. Technology will be available for public use during this period, with oversight provided by a Client Service Associate.
What if resident’s do not have access to technology at home? What if diverse populations of users have trouble accessing and using technology?
Additional technology will be available as needed, ensuring accessibility for all participants. In cases where individuals lack access to technology or require assistance due to limited technological literacy, they are welcome to call into Client Services (705.435.3900 option 2) to register or may attend to another recreation centre to register for programs up to 6 days in advance.

Everyone is welcome! The Town of New Tecumseth believes that all residents should have access to programs and services offered by the Recreation, Facilities and Culture Department regardless of age, ability, or financial need. Admission fees may be waived for support persons accompanying a person with a disability to their program of choice.

Inclusion Opportunities

The Town of New Tecumseth is committed to providing recreational experiences to all individuals with various abilities. Our integrated program encourages participants who have special needs to take part in registered programs with additional support at a 1:1 ratio. Please contact Camp staff by emailing recreation@newtecumseth.ca to discuss inclusion opportunities.

| Payments & Refund Requests |
| Refund Requests |
| Refund requests must be submitted in writing or by email to recreation@newtecumseth.ca. Please allow up to 15 business days for processing of refunds. Hold/extension, cancellation, or refund requests for fitness memberships must be submitted in writing with the necessary forms completed. Fitness memberships are non-transferrable.
Administration fees are waived when a medical note is provided for all cancellation requests.
- A full refund, less the $19.55 administrative fee will be issued upon request when the request is received with more than 5 business days prior to the course start date.
- A pro-rated refund, less the $32.40 administrative fee will be issued when the request is received with less than 5 business days to the course start date, but prior to the fourth scheduled class.
- When the program cancellation fee is greater than the registered program fee, and a medical note has not been supplied, a refund will not be provided.
- Refunds may be issued for medical reasons only upon receipt of a doctors note and the administrative fee will be waived.

| Summer Day Camp Payment Plan |

A payment plan is available for second or subsequent camp registration for families registering for multiple camp weeks per child. Each subsequent camp program will require a down payment of $40 at time of registration.
- A payment plan must be paid in full before the Monday two (2) weeks prior to the camp start date. To set up a payment plan you must add a valid credit card or EFT information on to your recreation account to allow scheduled payments to be processed.
Payment plans must be set up in person at the recreation centre when registering for summer day camp. EFT/credit card information must be presented at the time of registration.
