Dig into the past with our museum lecture series, where history comes alive through engaging 45-60 minute presentations by esteemed guest speakers and knowledgeable museum staff. Join us as we explore a range of historical and culturally significant topics that offer insight into the heritage that shaped our community.  Museum Makerspace Workshops

Creatively explore our rich local historic tapestry with engaging hands-on workshops designed for ages 16 and up. Our approachable 1-2 hour workshops, hosted by talented third-party instructors or enthusiastic museum staff invite you to play, create, learn, and connect.

 Back in Time PA Days

Step back in time with special PA day activities at the Museum on the Boyne. Come explore the past in a fun and interactive way with old-timey crafts and games, historical demonstrations, and challenging scavenger hunts.

Recommended for ages 5+. Children visiting the museum must be accompanied by an adult. 
Admission by donation.

 Museum Spuds and Sprouts

Introducing Museum Spuds and Sprouts – our way of welcoming our youngest visitors to explore, play, and learn at the museum. Great for ages 2-4, we are pleased to offer themed hands-on crafts and sensory activities to introduce you and your little ones to the museum.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

September 13th - Doors Open - 10am-4:00pm

Come visit the Museum on the Boyne for Doors Open, a free event across Simcoe County. 

Take a tour through our historic buildings and learn about the history of South Simcoe. We have crafts and activities! You can do a scavenger hunt, play old-fashioned games and make crafts. We have a little something for all ages.
