As a FIFA World Cup 2026™ designated Team Base Camp community, the Town of New Tecumseth is hosting an
exclusive registration-only Team Panama Community Training Session (CTS) in partnership with FIFA, Simcoe County and the Nottawasaga Resort & Conference Centre.

This once‑in‑a‑lifetime event gives residents front‑row access to watch Team Panama train ahead of their opening match against Team Ghana on Thursday, June 11, 2026—plus chances to win fun FIFA‑themed prizes.

Date: Thursday, June 11, 2026

Time: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM (check-in arrival time 4:30PM)

Location: Nottawasaga Resort and Conference Centre, 6015 ON-89, Alliston ON L9R 1A4

Registration Details

Registrants must have an Xplor Registration Software account set up in advance to be able to register for a ticket.
Client Services staff must set up your account if this is your first time registering online.

Important Information 

  • Every person attending the event or supervising a child under 12 years of age who is attending the event must register.
    • Children under 12 must be supervised (1 adult per 3 children)
    • Youth ages 13–15 may register and attend independently if a parent/guardian is on-site and available for the duration of the activity.
  • This will be a standing-only viewing area; strollers, chairs and blankets are not permitted.
  • All attendees must comply with event staff direction and posted signage at all times.
  • To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, participants will be required to complete a short security screening upon arrival.
  • Outside food and beverages are not permitted. Water bottles will be provided upon arrival with access to refill onsite.
  • Anyone displaying unsafe, disruptive, or non-compliant behavior may be asked to leave the area to ensure the safety of all guests.
  • By participating in this program/event, participants and their guardians consent to the collection of photographs, video, and audio recordings that may include their image or likeness, and acknowledge that such media may be used by the Town for promotional, educational, and communication purposes, including on the Town’s website, social media, and other public materials.

Is there a cost?
There is no cost to attend. This will be a free event.

 

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
No. Tickets are non-transferable and must be used by the individual who registered. You may not give, sell, or transfer your ticket to another person. Identification will be verified when checking in to the event.

 

What if I can’t attend? Can I cancel my spot and give it to someone else?
You may cancel your spot at any time by logging into your Xplor recreation account or by contacting the Client Services team.
Spots cannot be given directly to another person. If space becomes available, individuals on the waitlist will be contacted.

 

What should I expect at the event?

Are there any restrictions on items that I can bring?
Yes. The following are not permitted:

  • Blankets
  • Outside food and beverages

 

Will there be security screening?
Yes. All attendees must complete a brief security screening upon arrival. All participants will require rescreening if they leave the facility upon re-entry.

 

What are the rules for children and youth attending the event?

Every person attending the event or supervising a child must register for the event.

What happens if someone doesn’t follow the rules?
