The Tottenham Conservation Area is closed for the season.

If you are looking to book a monthly or seasonal site please  submit a request form to be reviewed and confirmed with Facility Rental staff.

  • Picnic Pavilion rental requests with alcohol onsite or requests for over 50 people and all seasonal and long term reservations must continue to be submitted through a Facility Scheduler by  submitting a request form. 
  • For day use visits between June 21rd to June 23rd, 2024 please contact the Tottenham Bluegrass Festival for tickets. 
Before You Visit 
  • Check-in time is 3:00pm. If you arrive before 3:00pm, and your site is not ready, you are welcome to enjoy the use of the facility until your site is ready for occupancy. 
  • Checkout time is 12:00PM (NOON). 
  • Check the status of the Tottenham Conservation Area beach water before you visit. 
  • Permit holders must be 21 years or older.
  • For your camping comfort, and those around you, we allow one family (2 adults and 3 children) to a maximum of 5 persons per site. Adults (Minimum 21 years) camping on one site are restricted to four adults.
  • Quiet time is between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Campsite Bookings
Overnight Camping 

The Tottenham Conservation Area offers a variety of serviced and un-serviced campsites.

  • Campsite Bookings: opens May 19th – September 30th, 2023
  • Campsites must be booked for a minimum of 3 nights on all long weekends to include Friday, Saturday & Sunday. 
  • Bookings between June 19th to 22nd, 2023 will be reserved onsite/drive up only - online and over the phone reservations are not available during this time. 
  • Bookings between June 23rd to June 25th, 2023 must be reserved through the Tottenham Bluegrass Festival

Gatehouse Hours of Operation:

Open daily 8:00am-8:00pm 

Fees - day use

Disc Golf 

The Tottenham Conservation Area is home to an 18 hole disc golf course. Discs are available for a rental fee of $5.25 plus HST at the gatehouse. The course will be closed during the Tottenham Bluegrass Festival and may be on long weekends due to increased park capacity and visitor safety.

Work is currently underway to enhance the disc golf course. The course is open during maintenance.

A large, sandy beach lets visitors relax and enjoy the water. You can bring your canoe or pedal boats to explore the pond. Personal floatation devices are strongly recommended.

Picnic Pavilion Rentals 
The Tottenham Conservation Area offers three picnic pavilions to use for shelter and picnics while you visit. Rent a picnic pavilion to host a family reunion, anniversary, business retreat or other private gathering. There are three pavilions to choose from. Scroll down to view images. 
  • Picnic Pavilion rental requests to have alcohol onsite or for over 50 guests and all seasonal and long term reservations must continue to be submitted through a Facility Scheduler by submitting a request form. 
  • Please note pavilion guests who are not deemed a Town of New Tecumseth resident are subject to admission fees when entering the conservation area. Residents must provide proof of residency upon entry to the park on every visit to be granted free admission. Entry fees are noted above under the fees, map and location information area.

Refunds/Cancellations 

As per the Tottenham Conservation Area Conditions of Use:

  • Refund requests provided 21 days or more prior to your booking date will receive a full refund minus a Facility Rental cancellation fee of $23.25 plus HST. 
  • Requests received less than 21 days prior to booking date, no refund will be issued.

The Parks, Recreation and Culture Department reserves the right to cancel the permit if the applicant is in violation of any of the conditions of use. To submit a refund request please email rentals@newtecumseth.ca.
