CFB Borden 110th Anniversary Flag Raising
Join Mayor Richard Norcross and Council as the Town of New Tecumseth celebrates the 110th Anniversary of Canadian Forces Base Borden with a special flag-raising ceremony on July 11 at 10 a.m. at Town Hall.
The ceremony will feature Colonel Melissa Ramessar, Commander of CFB Borden, who will raise and present the CFB Borden flag to the Town. CFB Borden, established in 1916, is the largest training establishment in the Canadian Armed Forces and has played a significant role in Canada’s military history.
Residents are welcome to attend and help recognize this important milestone and CFB Borden’s longstanding contributions to our community and country.Â
