Help Shape the Future of Recreation in Beeton
Big things are happening for recreation in New Tecumseth—and we want the community to help guide the way.
The Town is launching the Beeton Community Centre Project, an early‑stage planning process to explore the future of recreation, culture, and community space in Beeton. The Beeton Memorial Arena has served the community for many years, and it’s time to start thinking about what comes next.
At this stage, no decisions or designs have been made. This process begins with listening: understanding what residents value today and what they want to see in a renewed community space tomorrow.
Your feedback will directly shape the concepts and options developed later in the project.
Have Your Say
There are several ways for the community to get involved. Whether you’ve lived here for decades or you’re new to town, your voice matters.
The survey closed on March 20, 2026.Â

What is the Beeton Community Centre Project?
It is the Town’s early‑stage process to gather ideas and input from residents before any design work begins. Community feedback will guide the future concepts brought forward for discussion.
Is there a proposed design yet?
No. This first phase is focused on community engagement only. Designs will come later, after input is collected and analyzed.
Why is this happening now?
The Beeton Memorial Arena is an aging facility, and long‑term planning is needed to determine its future. Growth in Beeton also means increased demand for high‑quality recreation and community spaces.
Will local organizations and arena user groups be consulted?
Yes. User groups and community organizations will be invited to take part in the focused engagement sessions throughout the process.
